Overall Impression
The most appealing topic I felt we covered this semester had to be the conception and birth control methods. After reading the Contraceptive Jelly on Toast article by Whatley and Henken I was utterly amazed that there were actually people that thought it was easy to not become pregnant with ludicrous methods or no protection at all. This is just another reason the birth rates are rocketing in younger and younger people and even kids. It was also very interesting to learn of the many different forms of birth control, contraceptive methods, and how many people actually use them from Chapter 5 and the powerpoint. I found it fascinating and remarkable to discover more about the protection methods, awareness, and uses during Assignment 4.

I liked the topic of birth control methods as well. I watch the movie called "Kinsey" earlier in the semester. It was amazing to hear how people once thought about sex, birth control, virginity, etc. Because of society's view back then most people were extremely misinformed about these important topics. Even today I hear about children in late elementary school and junior high that have oral sex because they think nothing can happen to them. They think as long as they don't have sex they can't contract anything. It's sad when you hear about young kids having sex or performing oral sex on their classmates at such an early age.
